The Senior Salesforce Consultant plays a key role in guiding clients from project kick-off through implementation, deployment, and go-live support to ensure solutions align with business needs and drive measurable impact. Collaborating closely with our On-Demand Support Team, Consulting and Development Teams, and Salesforce Architects, this role is central to delivering exceptional client experiences and results.

ABOUT THE JOB:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Contribute to multiple large, complex client projects through all phases of the project lifecycle by working with Senior Consultants, Architects, and Project Managers
  • Manage multiple client relationships to grow and foster authentic connections with stakeholders while identifying and managing Salesforce projects based on deliverables and milestones
  • Meet with key stakeholders to understand business objectives, priorities, and expectations for their Salesforce solutions
  • Propose, design, and implement solutions/upgrades/enhancements to solve client business needs and issues
  • Document project business requirements and ensure all have been satisfied through the project implementation
  • Configure, test, and deploy the Salesforce solution and any associated applications aligned with the Statement of Work
  • Maintain positive and effective communication with the team, clients, and external vendors
  • Meet with end users to understand and assess user needs
  • Conduct end user training for the Salesforce solution and provide necessary implementation documentation
  • Support team learning by sharing best practices and internal documentation with fellow team members
  • Adhere to project management standards, including work planning, status reporting, issue and risk management and escalation, managing to-budget and escalate any deviations, etc.
  • Maintain billable time to client work (85%) with minimal write-offs or re-work (less than 5%)
  • Maintain deep understanding of Salesforce, including staying informed of new Salesforce releases and how the releases can benefit new and existing clients
  • Serve as a mentor to fellow team members
  • Report directly to the Senior Consulting Manager or Vice President of Consulting
  • Additional duties as assigned

Education & Experience Required

  • Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Nonprofit Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Consultant, or other Consulting focused certifications required or attainable within 6 months of hire
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or related field preferred; OR equivalent years relevant work experience and/or education required
  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience; Experience in the Technology industry, specifically with software implementations, defining business requirements or business process, and managing client relationships is preferred
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required; Specialty Certifications, on as needed basis
  • Minimum 4+ years of Salesforce configuration and consulting experience required, including or in addition to 2+ years using a CRM, or working in relational databases
  • Experience with all Microsoft Office products preferred
  • Familiar with collaboration, webinar, and presentation platforms including but not limited to Teams, Zoom, Slack, and Google Meet
  • Experience with telecommuting preferred
  • This is a remote role. Team members are expected to have a quiet, dedicated workspace with reliable internet access to ensure consistent communication and productivity

Expected Work Hours

This is a full-time position with regular office hours Monday through Friday. This position may require after work hours and occasional weekends, depending on work demands.

Travel Expectations

This position may require some domestic US travel, up to 25% of the time, for strategic client meetings, sales presentations, industry events, team meetings, and client events.

Physical Demands

This position requires frequent sitting, computer, and telephone usage. It may require occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.

Salary Range

$75K-120K

Salary is dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to a candidate’s years of experience, depth of experience, education, geographic location, etc.
