SALESFORCE CONSULTANT

ABOUT THE JOB:

Position Summary:

The Salesforce Consultant will work closely with our On-Demand Support Team, Senior Salesforce Consultants, and Architects from Salesforce project kick-off through implementation, deployment, and go-live support, ensuring business requirements have been met.

Responsibilities:

    • Contribute to multiple large, complex client projects through all phases of the project lifecycle by working with Senior Consultants, Architects, and Project Managers
    • Manage multiple client relationships to grow and foster authentic connections with stakeholders while identifying and managing Salesforce projects based on deliverables and milestones
    • Meet with key stakeholders to understand business objectives, priorities, and expectations for their Salesforce solutions
    • Propose, design, and implement solutions/upgrades/enhancements to solve client business needs and issues
    • Document project business requirements and ensure all have been satisfied through the project implementation
    • Configure, test, and deploy the Salesforce solution and any associated applications aligned with the Statement of Work
    • Maintain positive and effective communication with the team, clients, and external vendors
    • Meet with end users to understand and assess user needs
    • Conduct end user training for the Salesforce solution and provide necessary implementation documentation
    • Support team learning by sharing best practices and internal documentation with fellow team members
    • Adhere to project management standards, including work planning, status reporting, issue and risk management and escalation, managing to-budget and escalate any deviations, etc.
    • Achieve billability target determined in conjunction with the Senior Consulting Manager with minimal write-offs or re-work (less than 10%)
    • Maintain deep understanding of Salesforce, including staying informed of new Salesforce releases and how the releases can benefit new and existing clients
    • Serve as a mentor to fellow team members
    • Report directly to the Senior Consulting Manager
    • Additional duties as assigned

Education & Experience Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred; OR equivalent years relevant work experience and/or education required
    • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience; Experience in the Technology industry, specifically with software implementations, defining business requirements or business process, and managing client relationships is preferred
    • Salesforce Administrator Certification required; Specialty Certifications, on as needed basis
    • Minimum 2+ years of Salesforce configuration experience required, including or in addition to 2+ years using a CRM, or working in relational databases
    • Experience with all Microsoft Office products preferred
    • Familiarity with webinar and presentation platforms, including Live Meeting, GoToMeeting, WebEx, Adobe Connect, RingCentral preferred
    • Telecommuting experience preferred

Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position with regular office hours Monday through Friday. This position may require after-hours work and occasional weekends, depending on work demands.

Travel Expectations:

This position may require some domestic US travel, up to 10% of the time, for strategic client meetings, sales presentations, industry events, team meetings, and client events.

Physical Demands:

This position requires frequent sitting, computer and telephone usage. It may require occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.

Salary Range: $75k-120K+

Salary is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s years of experience, depth of experience, education, geographic location, etc.
